Efficiency Academic Administration Strategies in Schools under the Jurisdiction of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Offices

Abstract

          The research purposes were: (1) to study the efficiency academic administration strategies, (2) to develop the efficiency academic administration strategies, and (3) to assess the efficiency academic administration strategies. This was the mixed methods research. The conceptual framework of this research was created by applying the concept of academic administration strategies and strategic planning theories of the Boston Model. The target population was the school directors, small school administrators, academic teachers, and educational supervisors; the sample group was the 60 personnel; the 30 of experts and qualified person; and selected by the purposive sampling method. The research instruments were the interview form, questionnaire, focus group, and the rightness and feasibility assessment; the reliability of whole questionnaire .87. The analysis statistics for quantitative data were the mean, and standard deviation; for the qualitative data was the content analysis.

          The research finding were:

          1. the efficiency academic administration strategies consisted of the six strategies were (1) the strategies to enhance the efficiency of education administration, (2) the strategies for developing learning management towards student quality, (3) the strategies for developing innovative media and educational technologies, (4) the strategies for promoting educational supervision and academic development, (5) the strategies of academic cooperation network development, and (6) the strategies of academic development assessment.

          2. the efficiency academic administration strategies found the academic administration strategies in schools under the jurisdiction of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Offices found the overall benefit was at a high level;

          3. the assessment results of the efficiency academic administration strategies found the appropriate, possibility and usefulness were at a high level.
