Abstract

 

The purpose of this study was to study 1) Good governance levels and effectiveness levels of private schools in Nakhon Ratchasima province. 2) Good governance principles affecting effectiveness of private schools in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The sample group that provided quantitative information were school administrators and teachers from private schools in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Academic Year 2020, 265 people. The group who provided qualitative data were 9 educational administration experts. Instrument of quantitative study was a questionnaire. Instrument of qualitative study was a structured interview form.
The quantitative data were analyzed using basic computer programs, namely Frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis, qualitative data was used interpretations to process sub-conclusions as big conclusions.

The results showed that

  1. The good governance principles of private schools in Nakhon Ratchasima province was at a high level and the effectiveness of private schools in Nakhon Ratchasima province was at a high level.
  2. The good governance principles affecting effectiveness of private schools in Nakhon Ratchasima province. statistically significant at the .05 level, the principles of good governance that affecting the effectiveness of private schools are rule of law, transparency, accountability and information and communication technology.
