Abstract

The research on Effect of Good Governance Applying Quality of work Life of the 3rd Forensic Center, The Royal Thai Police Headquarter aimed to 1) study management level and 2) study administration according to the principles of good governance affecting the quality of working life of police officers, Forensic Center 3, Office of Forensic Affairs Royal Thai Police. It was a mixed research method. The population was the police officers in the Forensic Center 3, the Office of Forensics, of 380 persons. The sample consisted of police officers, forensic evidence center, 3, bureau of evidence, The Royal Thai Police, a total of 380 officers. Research tools included questionnaires and interviews. The statistics used consisted of mean, standard deviation. Inferential statistics were correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis.

The research result found that administrative factors according to good governance principles affecting quality of working life of police officers at the Forensic Center 3 using multiple regression statistics by stepwise method showed that administrative factors according to good governance principles affecting quality of working life of police officers at the Forensic Center 3 consisted of the rule of law, transparency principle, principle of value and principles of human resource management, the regression coefficients were 0.412, 0.502, 0.612, 0.375, and 0.441, respectively, and the prediction coefficient (R²) of 0.85 was able to predict the outcome of 85 percent.

The conclusion from the interview by the informant found that the issue of compensation that was adequate and fair was deemed appropriate with the responsibility, environment that was hygienic and safe, the workplace was convenient and clean, the issue of human competence development was supportive for enhancing knowledge, skills, security and progress in career, being seen as clear path of progress, in the social integration work and the relationship that was beneficial to society found that there was a good society and always work that benefits society, for democracy in the organization, it was found that there was an opportunity to express opinions and acceptance of each other. The balance between work and personal life is of the opinion that it is appropriate.
