Strategies for Development Nursing Supervision Skills of Nursing Student in Faculty of Nursing of Private University

This research aims to 1) To Study for development strategies of Nursing Supervision Skills of Nursing Students in Faculty of Nursing of Private University. The study was divided into 3phases: Phases 1) Study and review the theory, document analysis, research report which related to nursing supervision and strategiesand needs the nursing critical supervision skills. Phase 2) Development of strategies for developing nursing supervision skills. Phases 3) Study the feasibilities of nursing supervision skills, development strategies of nursing students. The samples consisting of 295 registered nurses from 12 private universities offering Faculty of Nursing and10 experts examining strategies for developing nursing supervision skills, and 24 private university nursing teachers. The research instruments includes questionnaires on the current state of nursing supervision regarding the importance and needs for nursing supervision and the semi-structured interview form and questionnaire for assessing the probability of actions. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The research results were as follows: Strategies for development nursing supervision skills of nursing students of Private universities consisting of 3 main strategies :1) Development of technical skills in nursing supervision 2) Development of interpersonal skills and 3) Development of nursing management skills and 10 secondary strategies with a total of 31 development guidelines. When considering the level of practical possibilities in all areas, each area found that the main strategy, secondary strategy and development approach are at the high and highest levels
