The Development of Learning Management Plans on Foreign Words in Thai Language for MatthayomSueksa 3 Students by Inquiry Method with Multimedia

Abstract

          In this Experimental Research, The objectives of this research were 1) to develop learning management plans on foreign words in Thai language for MatthayomSueksa 3 students by inquiry method with multimedia with the criterion efficiency of 75/ 75; 2) to compare the students’ achievement before and after learning with these learning management plans; 3) to study student satisfaction after using learning management plans. The sample was 35 MatthayomSueksa 3 students in one classroom in the first semester of the academic year 2020 at the PiyachatPattana School under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Patronage. The research instruments were 1) the learning management plans on foreign words in Thai language for MatthayomSueksa 3 students by inquiry method with multimedia; 2) an achievement test on foreign words in Thai language for MatthayomSueksa 3 students and 3) The questionnaire about student satisfaction after using learning management plans. Statistical analysis methods used to analyze the data were frequency distribution, percentage, mean and standard deviation and t-test dependent was used to compare the students’ achievement.

          The research results revealed that: 1 ) The learning management plans on foreign words in Thai language for MatthayomSueksa 3 students by inquiry method with multimedia was developed exhibited an efficiency of 82.57/78.86, higher than the criterion; 2) The students’ achievement after learning with these learning management plans was higher than before learning (t= -19.04, Sig= 0.000) with statistically significant at the 0.05; and 3) The students satisfaction after using learning management plans as whole was at the highest level.
