Risk management of Child development centers in Pathumthani Province.

Abstract

          The purposes of this descriptive study were 1) to examine the risk management, 2) to study the operational results of child development centers, and 3) to examine the relationship between of risk management operational results of child development centers. The research instruments were 1) the personal information questionnaire, 2) the risk management questionnaire, and 3) the operational results of child development center questionnaire. The research population were heads and teachers of 34 child development centers that did not pass the quality assessment criteria. The population of study consisted of 115 peoples, and samples of 98 people were selected by purposive sampling technique. The content validity both tools were equal to .90, and reliability of the questionnaires were tested using Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient, the results were at .89, and .90 respectively. The data were analyzed using means, standard deviation and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.

             The results of the study revealed that 1)The risk management of child development centers were at moderate level ((x¯ = 2.86, SD = 1.03). 2)The operational results of child development centers were at high level ((x¯ = 4.12, SD = 0.38). 3) The  relationship between risk management and operational results of child development centers of child development centers were statistically significant difference at .05 (r = .15)
