Educational Reform as of Probable Buddhist Educational Philosophy for Thailand 4.0

Abstract

          Amidst economical and social crises and rapid technological and transitional disruption, it directly affects the national development at large. Thai children and youth, especially, have encountered more material development than the mental one. This creates multiple social problems in Thailand. One of the guidelines that helps make the successful Thai Educational reform in accordance with the strong intention of the present H.E. Minister of Education and provide quality education for children to become good, clever and happy citizens in to apply Buddhist Educational Philosophy by application of Buddhist teachings in the entire educational system, starting from goal and policy setting, curriculum time development, instructional management to the teachers’ roles and duties in regards to students. Buddhist Educational Philosophy will help in enhancing all students to become developed in all aspects, physically, mentally, socially, and intelligently in order to be sound human-beings.
