ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อความฉลาดทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษามุสลิมในมหาวิทยาลัยภาคใต้

บทคัดย่อ
วิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) ศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อความฉลาดทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษาชาวไทยมุสลิมและ 2) เสนอแนวทางพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ด้านธุรกิจข้ามวัฒนธรรมที่สอดคล้องกับบริบทของนักศึกษาในพื้นที่ภาคใต้ โดยใช้วิธีวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน วิจัยเชิงปริมาณเก็บข้อมูลนักศึกษาชาวไทยมุสลิมระดับปริญญาตรีในสาขาวิชาด้านบริหารธุรกิจ มหาวิทยาลัยภาคใต้ จำนวน 400 คน จากการสุ่มหลายขั้นตอน ใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ ส่วนวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 10 คน และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักศึกษาชาวไทยมุสลิมมีอัตลักษณ์ทางศาสนาการสนับสนุนจากมหาวิทยาลัย ประสบการณ์ข้ามวัฒนธรรม การปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรม และความฉลาดทางวัฒนธรรมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยอัตลักษณ์ทางศาสนามีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด ( = 4.47, S.D. = 0.54) ขณะที่การวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ พบว่า การปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมมีอิทธิพลต่อความฉลาดทางวัฒนธรรมมากที่สุด (
= .32) รองลงมา ได้แก่ การสนับสนุนจากมหาวิทยาลัย (
= .27) ประสบการณ์ข้ามวัฒนธรรม (
= .25) และอัตลักษณ์ทางศาสนา (
= .12) โดยตัวแปรทั้งหมดสามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนของความฉลาดทางวัฒนธรรมได้ร้อยละ 55.1 (R² = .551) ผลการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพสังเคราะห์แนวทางพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ด้านธุรกิจข้ามวัฒนธรรม ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมการรักษา
อัตลักษณ์ทางศาสนา การพัฒนาการปรับตัวในการเรียนร่วมกับเพื่อนต่างวัฒนธรรม การเสริมสร้างทักษะการสื่อสารและการทำงานเป็นทีมในสภาพแวดล้อมพหุวัฒนธรรม การจัดการความท้าทายจากความไม่เข้าใจทางวัฒนธรรม และการเสริมบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยในการพัฒนาความฉลาดทางวัฒนธรรม ข้อค้นพบสะท้อนว่า การพัฒนาความฉลาดทางวัฒนธรรมควรดำเนินการอย่างเป็นระบบ ทั้งในระดับบุคคล ระดับการเรียนการสอน และระดับสถาบัน
