Main Article Content
Abstract
This research and development study aimed to: 1) Investigate problems and needs regarding curriculum administration at Chauatkrengthamwittaya School; 2) Analyze the components of place-based curriculum administration using a co-creation process; 3) Develop a place-based curriculum administration model using a co-creation process; 4) Implement the proposed model; and 5) Evaluate the model's effectiveness and disseminate the findings. The research methodology proceeded as follows: stakeholder interviews were conducted to examine problems and needs, with data analyzed through content analysis; Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was performed using a sample of 570 participants, followed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with 420 participants using a five-point rating scale questionnaire; the model was constructed through focus group discussions and consensus meetings; and the model was piloted with 181 target participants before evaluating its effectiveness and expanding it to five schools. The findings revealed that: 1) The existing curriculum lacked stakeholder participation and meaningful connections to the local context, necessitating collaborative curriculum development; 2) Six components of place-based curriculum administration were identified, with CFA confirming satisfactory model-data fit (χ²/df = 1.05, CFI = 0.989, RMSEA = 0.012); 3) The resulting model, designated the "RATCSE Model for Co-Creation Process," achieved a range score of 85.50, rated at the highest level; 4) Teachers' performance under the model was rated at the highest level ( = 4.75, S.D. = 0.19), as was teacher satisfaction (
= 4.74, S.D. = 0.38); and 5) All 161 students (100%) demonstrated competencies at a good level or above, while curriculum administration quality and dissemination outcomes were both rated at the highest level.
