INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR THE LEARNING EFFECTIVENESS OF STUDENTS IN BASIC EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an internal quality assurance management model for learning effectiveness of basic education students in educational institutions under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. It was a mixed-method research divided into 3 steps as follows: Step 1: Study the factors affecting the internal quality assurance management by using questionnaires and interviews. The sample consisted of 269 directors or deputy directors, heads of academic departments, and educational supervisors, obtained from the Krejci and Morgan sample size determination by simple random sampling, Step 2: Develop an internal quality assurance management model. The informants were 5 people with knowledge and experience in internal quality assurance who were purposively selected, Step 3: Test and evaluate the use of the model. The sample consisted of 104 directors, deputy directors, and teachers. The results of the research found that: 1) Factors affecting the performance of internal quality assurance management Overall, it is at a high level, 2) The development of the internal education quality assurance management model has 2 components: The internal education quality assurance management components have 8 components: 1) Set educational standards 2) Create an education development plan 3) Carry out work according to the development plan 4) Evaluate internal quality 5) Follow up and report results 6) Develop a quality innovation network 7) Extract lessons from excellent educational institutions and 8) Integrate cooperation in the classroom and The educational institution management system has 6 steps: 1) Educational planning 2) Curriculum development 3) Resource management 4) Teaching and learning 5) Evaluation and 6) School management, and 3) The results of the trial of the developed model found that it is most useful and feasible.
