DEVELOPMENT OF A PARTNERSHIP NETWORK MODEL FOR ENHANCING THE STUDENT SUPPORT SYSTEM IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE SURAT THANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) To study the current and desirable conditions, 2) To develop a model, and 3) To verify and validate the model. This study employed a research and development (R&D) design with a sample of 380, including experts, school administrators, and network chairpersons. The research instruments were questionnaires, expert-based seminar records, and evaluation forms on usefulness and feasibility. Data were analyzed using basic statistics, including mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The findings revealed that: 1) The overall current condition was at a high level, while the overall desirable condition was at the highest level; 2) The developed model for building collaborative networks to enhance the student care and support system comprised five components: Principles, including participation, integration, equality, and equity; Objectives; components of collaborative network building, consisting of Collaborative network formation-agreement establishment, planning and goal setting, strengthening cooperation, and communication channels, and The student care and support system-student identification, screening, promotion and development, prevention and assistance, and referral; Operational steps of collaborative networks for effective student care and support, including participation in planning and agreements, active participation in implementation, participation in monitoring, and participation in evaluation; and Success Conditions; 3) The model for building collaborative networks to enhance the student care and support system was found to be feasible and beneficial in all components.
