DEVELOPMENT OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE MODEL FOR PRIVATE EARLY CHILDHOOD SCHOOLS TO ENHANCE INNOVATION SKILLS IN YOUNG

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a management model for private early childhood schools that promotes innovative skills in children. The study also evaluated the appropriateness, validity, feasibility, and utility of the developed model. A multi-phase mixed methods research approach was employed. The research was divided into two phases: the first phase involved developing the model through interviews with 14 experts. The second phase involved evaluating the model through focus group discussions and questionnaires from 12 experts. The results revealed that the management model comprised four main areas: academic administration, personnel administration, budget administration, and general administration. Each area plays a crucial role in developing the quality and efficiency of early childhood education. The results revealed that the experts' opinions were highly rated in all areas, with an average score of 4.72 for accuracy and a standard deviation of 0.41. The content was consistent with academic principles and concepts of private early childhood school management to foster innovative skills. The appropriateness score was 4.81 for suitability and a standard deviation of 0.37. The model is consistent with the operational context and can be applied in educational institutions. In terms of feasibility, the mean score was 4.78 and the standard deviation was 0.39. The potential of the model for effective application and the highest level of usefulness were 4.85 and the standard deviation was 0.35. This model can raise the quality of education management to be consistent with the needs and conditions of society in the present era. It is also a guideline that helps develop teachers and personnel to be ready for systematic learning management that emphasizes innovative skills. It can be applied in both private schools and schools under other organizations to raise the standards of early childhood education.
