CREATION OF TEACHING KITS TO DEVELOP THAI LISTENING SKILLS FOR FIRST YEAR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS FACULTY OF EDUCATION, SONGKHLA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This article aims to create a teaching package for developing listening skills for first-year students at the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. to find the effectiveness of the teaching set created by the researcher According to the standard 75/75 to compare the achievement of learning Thai language first. and after using the tutorial and to study student satisfaction towards the teaching package created by the researcher. The researcher used the experimental design of The One-Group Pretest – Posttest Design. Test before and after study, then compare the differences by analyzing basic statistics. and to compare the total mean scores using the mean and standard deviation The population in this research was first-year students, Faculty of Education, who did not enroll in the Thai language for communication course, subject code EDLA004, semester 2/2020, 6 groups of 30 people, each group totaling 180 people. In this research He is a first-year undergraduate student at the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University 5 groups who registered for the Thai Language for Communication course, subject code EDLA004, semester 2/2020, were assigned a period of study and research in semester 2/2020. Combined with the average score obtained from taking the academic achievement test, the average was 79.31/81.61, which was higher than the standard. Listening ability of first year students, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University There was a statistical significance at the .01 level and the students' satisfaction towards learning by using the teaching package to develop listening skills. For first-year students, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University Overall, it was at a high level.
