LIFE QUALITY POLICY IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ELDERLY TO PRACTICE THAT AFFECTS LIFE QUALITY OF ELDERLY IN NAKHON RATCHASIMA PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of this research article were to 1) study level of life quality policy implementation of the elderly to practice in Nakhon Ratchasima province, 2) study life quality policy of the elderly affecting life quality of the elderly in Nakhon Ratchasima province and 3) propose development guideline in life quality of the elderly in Nakhon Ratchasima province. This research was mixed method research. The sample size was determined by Taro Yamane. The samples were 400 elderlies who aged 60 years and over in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The instruments used in this research were a questionnaire and depth interview with 10 people and analyzed the data. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Multiple regression analysis, Regression analysis and Correlation analysis. The research results revealed that:1) level of life quality policy of the elderly in Nakhon Ratchasima province as a whole was at much level that the averages were arranged in descending order as follows: service and network system aspect, supporting the elderly to get the knowledge and accessibility to news and medias aspect, supporting the elderly with potential aspect , family caregivers and protection aspect , promotion of aggregation aspect, health promotion aspect, promotion of work aspect, income protection aspect , promotion of housing and environment condition aspect and health insurance aspect respectively. 2) Life quality policy of the elderly was on health insurance aspect, supporting the elderly with potential aspect, income protection aspect, family caregivers and protection aspect and service and network system aspect affected life quality of the elderly in Nakhon Ratchasima province with statistically significant level of .05 3) Should have research in problems and needs of the elderly with the other related agencies in order to use the research results to plan, improve the elderly's health promotion strategies or to create new policies in order to solve problems and accordance with needs of the elderly in the future.
