THE SCENARIOS OF POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS TO COMMUNITY OF UDON THANI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY IN THE NEXT DECADE

Abstract

          The objectives of this article were: 1) to study current conditions and the desirable conditions of potential development teachers to community of Udon Thani Rajabhat University in the next decade 2) to study the trend that should be in management of potential development teachers to community, and 3) to study the scenarios for potential development teachers to community of Udon Thani Rajabhat University in the next decade (2019 - 2028). The sample group used a selective selection consisting of 21 experts. Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research (EDFR) is the future research technique that used in this research. The data were collected in three phases. Phase 1: interviewed 21 experts. Phase 2 and Phase 3: used questionnaires. The questionnaires were analyzed by using percentage, median, mode and interquartile range of the groups. The researchers selected the median trend from 3.50 upward and the trend was consistent with the opinions of the expert group with the quartile range not over 1.50, including the confirmation of suitability of 85 percents. The research found that: General context: the guideline for future vision at the highest level is the appropriateness of the objectives in teacher development project for local development. Input: the guideline for future vision at the highest level is the school can manage and use of modern information technology to manage the curriculum, teaching and learning. Process: the guideline for future vision at the highest level is the professional potential of the graduates whom be exact the school’ requirements. Output: the guideline for future vision at the highest level is Udon Thani Rajabhat University make confidence for community in the field of teaching for locality teachers.
