Abstract

          The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of political participation of the people. 2) Compare the political participation of people in Thepalai municipality area, Khong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, classified by age, education level, occupation, etc. and 3) to study the guidelines for the development of political participation of people in Thepalai Municipality Area, Kong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. from a sample of voters aged 18 years and over 340 people residing in Thepalai Municipality, Kong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and 5 interviewees were given specific forms, namely 1) Director of the Election for Nakhon Ratchasima Province. 2) Mayor of Thepalai Subdistrict 3) Permanent Secretary of Thepalai Subdistrict Municipality 4) The Headman of Ban Nang Klan Road, Village No. 10, Tambon Thepalai, and 5) The Headman of Baan Mai Samakkhi Village, Village No. 15, Tambon Thepalai. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and interview form Use Content Analysis

          The results of the research showed that 1) the level of people's political participation The overall picture is at a low level.
