Factors Affecting the Staffs Competency Development of Sub-District Municipalities in Nong Phok District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

         The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the development’s level of staffs competency of sub -district municipalities in Nong Phok district, Roi Et Province, 2) to study factors affecting the staffs competency development of sub -district municipalities in Nong Phok district, Roi Et Province, and 3) to study the recommendation for improvement of the staffs competency development of sub -district municipalities in Nong Phok district, Roi Et Province. The samples were 134 officials which calculated by Taro Yamane’s formula at the confident level at 95%. The instruments used in the research were questionnaires. Statistical tools employed were percentage, mean, standard deviation, one sample t-test, and stepwise multiple regression. The findings of this research could be concluded as the following;

1. 1. The development’s level of staffs competency of sub -district municipalities in Nong Phok district, Roi Et Province was higher than 70% at .05 level of statistical significance.


2. Factor affected the staffs competency development of sub -district municipalities in Nong Phok district, Roi Et Province was job position which could totally explain the dependent variables at 43 (R² = .430) with .01 level of statistical significance.


3. The recommendation for improvement of the staffs competency development of sub -district municipalities in Nong Phok district, Roi Et Province were the organization should provide training courses on various matters to enhance operational skills to staffs, enhance personnel serving with ease and speed, and enhance staffs to work together with sincerity and unity of the organization and colleagues.
