The problems survey need of community: Case study Meakhammee community, Meakhammee subdistrict, Mueng district, Phrae province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to analyze the problems of community needs survey: a case study of Meakkhammee community, Meakhammee sub district, Muang district, Phare province, and 2) to determine directions and process of evaluation of community needs survey project and management of other projects related  to community needs focused on the progress of operational plans. In this survey research, the researcher collected data using a questionnaire answered by teachers, staff, leaders and academics in Banwanhchang School (Teerarajrangsarit) in Meakhammee community, Muang district, Phare province. The questionnaire was created according to the concept of PDCA.

The findings were as follows: the problems in the progress such as planning and meeting were not able to be as the set process principle, the project duration was not enough, the budget management during the project was uncontrolled, and the follow-up progress was discontinuous. However, the findings also revealed that all the participants: teachers, staff, leaders and academics got engaged with every method including planning, performing, and evaluating during the projects. In determining the direction of operations, there should be continuous meetings and sharing idea. The purpose should be more clearer. Besides, School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, has also brought the analysis result of the problems and comments of this research to do with other projects.
