Development Mathayomsuksa 5 Students’ Chemistry Learning Achievement in The Topic of Acid-Base Using Laboratories of Inquiry Learning Method and Learning Together Technique

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) compare Mathayomsuksa 5 students' learning achievements in the topic of Acid-Base using laboratories of inquiry learning method (5E)and cooperative learning with learning together technique between a pre-test and post-test; 2)compare students' learning achievements in the topic of Acid-Base using laboratories of inquiry learning method (5E) and cooperative learning with learning together technique between students’ grade and 70% of the criteria. The samples of this research were 28 Mathayomsuksa 5 students (Sciences and Mathematics Program) in semester 2/2021 at Thaliwittaya School, Thali District, Loei Province. The validation of the quality tests was to approve its as content validity, difficulty and discrimination. The data were analyzed statistically through the index of item objective congruence, means, standard deviations, and t-test statistics (one sample t-test). The findings were: 1) The pre-test and post-test of Mathayomsuksa 5 students had an average score of 7.00 points and 15.21 points, respectively. The comparison between pre-test and post-test, it was found that the post-test scores of the students were significantly higher than before with statistically at the level of .05 and 2) the students’ learning achievements with the established passing criteria after learning management in the topic of Acid-Base exceeded the 70% with the average score of 71.42 percent. The results showed that students understood of Chemistry in the topic of Acid-Base.
