Factors Related to Self-care Behaviors of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patientsat Public Health Center 29 Chuang Nuchanet, Health Department, BMA

Abstract
The objective of this descriptive research was to study self-care behaviors of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients at Public Health Center 29 Chuang Nuchanet ,Health Department, BMA. Sample of 309 diabetes mellitus patients were selected by random. The experimental instrument was testing and questionnaires developed by researcher for data collection. Data were analysed by using statistics software program. Analytical statistics were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square test and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient.
The results showed that bio-social factors ages,education level, occupation,average monthly income, duration of Diabetes Mellitus disease; had related to self-care behaviors of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at statistic significance at the level of .05. Predisposing factors; knowledge of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus disease,perception concerning type 2 Diabetes Mellitus disease, risk opportunity on complication following to Diabetes Mellitus disease, Diabetes Mellitus disease severity,benefit of self-care behaviors of Diabetes Mellitus; hed related to self-care behaviors of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at statistically significance at the level of .05. Enabling factors; the convenience of travelling to Public Health Center, the speed of services had related to self-care behaviors of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at statistically significance at the level of .05. Reinforcing factors;supporting from family community and health professionals, and getting information from any sources; has related to self-care behaviors of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at statistically significance at the level of .05
