The Development of Science learning Activities in Cooperative Learning with STAD Technique on the Topic of Plant Life for Grad 4 Students

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to: 1) Develop Science learning activities in Cooperative Learning with STAD technique on the topic of Plant Life for Grad 4 students with the efficiency criterion of 75/75. 2) Compare science learning achievement on the topic of Plant Life in between, before and after using Cooperative Learning with STAD technique, and 3) Study students satisfaction of learning though Cooperative Learning. The samples were 16 students of Grad 4 in the 1st semester of academic year 2019 at Chumchun-natomkhokkong School, Roi Et Primary Education Area Office 3rd and were selected via the Cluster Random Sampling. The instruments using in this research consisted of the learning plan, scientific achievement test and the students satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test (Dependent Samples). The findings of this research revealed that: 1) The efficiency of learning activity based on Cooperative Learning using STAD technique was 75.42/75.21, which is showed the efficiency with the 75/75 criterion. 2) The average post-test score of the student after using Cooperative Learning with STAD technique was higher than pretest at the .05 level of statistical significance. 3) Students had satisfaction with learning activities based on Cooperative Learning using STAD technique at a high level ( = 4.26, S.D. = 0.94)
