บทคัดย่อ

The purpose of this research was to (1) the develop case-based learning activities on democratic citizenship, (2) compare students achievement before and after, (3) compare critical thinking between before and after learning and (4) study the satisfaction of Matthayomsuksa 4 students who studied with the case-based learning activities on democratic citizenship. The sample consisted of 40 Matthayomsuksa 4/2 students at Srikranuan Wittayakhom School. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling and the instruments used for this research included the activities lesson plans, achievement test, test of critical thinking abilities and satisfaction questionnaire. The analysis was accomplished by percentage, mean, standard deviation and dependent samples t-test.

The findings were as follows; (1) the development of case-based learning activities on democratic citizenship for 89.57/87.83 which was higher than the assigned. (2) The achievement on case - based learning activities after learning was significantly higher than before at .05 level. (3) The critical thinking ability of students who received case-based learning activities after studying was higher than before studying at .05 levels. (4) The student satisfaction towards case-based learning activities on democratic citizenship overall, is at the highest level.
