Abstract

Human resources are considered the most important resource of a country or city. Learning is an important basis for developing human resources into valuable and quality resources. Therefore, it is necessary for people living in every country and city to receive knowledge so that those people can use their knowledge to participate in the development of that country or city for sustainable growth. Cities today or in the future must face problems that are more complex than in the past in every dimension. City development under the learning city concept is therefore very important in order to make the city competitive and is part of raising the level in developing the country's competitiveness. This article aims to present the concept of a learning city. Developing and creating knowledge for sustainable urban development including learning city indicators To be used as a guideline for developing the city towards a city of learning and sustainable development.
