The Development of Learning Activities for Creative Drama Practice Skills Based on Davies' Instructional Model for Matthayomsuksa 5

The purposes of this research were to: 1) develop creative drama activities that enhance practical skills based on Davies' instructional model for Grade 11 students, aiming to achieve an efficiency rate of 70/70, 2) Compare the learning achievements of Grade 11 students in practical creative drama skills based on Davies' instructional model with a criterion of 70 percent, 3) compare Grade 11 students’ practical skills based on learning activities of Davies' instruction model, and 4) study the satisfaction level of Grade 11 students who learn through creative drama activities based on Davies' instruction model. The sample group for the research consists of 41 students from Anukoolnaee School, Second Semester, Academic Year 2022, selected through cluster random sampling. The research tools used were 1) lesson plans, 2) a test of learning achievements 3) an assessment form for measuring students’ practical skills, and 4) satisfaction surveys. The statistical methods used to analyze the data are percentages, averages, standard deviations, t-test, and analysis for efficiency.
The results of findings revealed that: 1) Grade 11 students' efficiency in learning practical skills through creative drama, based on Davies' instruction model, was 82.80/82.72, exceeding the specified criterion, 2) The study on student learning achievement indicated that post-class scores were higher than the specified criteria of 70 percent, demonstrating statistical significance at the 0.05 level. 3) The practical skill score of the students, denoted by a mean of 3.31, designating that their skills are at a good level, 4) The students' satisfaction with the learning activities was the highest. (x̅ = 4.61, S.D. = 0.45)
