The development of thai language for communication and critical thinking abilities of 12th grade students by using sqp2rs with popplet application

The objectives of this research were to 1) develop 12th grade students’ Thai Language for Communication by using SQP2RS with Popplet application for students’ average score not less than and 70% of total score and there would be 70% up of the total number of the students passing criterion. 2) develop 12th grade students’ Critical thinking ability by using SQP2RS with Popplet application so that they would have average score not less than 70% of total score, and there would be 70% up of the total number of the students passing criterion. The target group used in this research was 5 Grade 12 students of Pawaiwittayayon School under The Secondary Education Service Area Office Khonkaen during the first semester of academic year 2022. The design of this research was the Action Research. The instruments used in this research categorized into 3 categories which were: 1) 6 Lesson Plans in Thai language using SQP2RS with Popplet application for 12 hours, 2) Research reflection tools consisted of (1) Teacher’s teaching behavior observation form, (2) Students’ learning behavior observation form, (3) Students’ interviewing record, (4) Instruction records, (5) End-of-spiral Thai Language for Communication (Reading) Test in subject for 4 items per each spiral, and (6) End-of-spiral Popplet application assessment task, and (7) End-of-spiral Critical thinking Test subject for 5 items per each spiral. 3) Assessment tools consisted of (1) Thai Language for Communication (Reading) Test in subject for 4 items, and (2) Popplet application assessment task, and (3) Critical thinking Test subject for 5 items. Quantitative data Analytical was analyzed by descriptive statistics consisted of mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), and percentage (%). Qualitative data Analytical was analyzed by using content Analytical.
The results were found that
1) The student had average score of Thai Language for Communication are 28.50, accounted for 86.88 percent and 5 students passed the criteria accounting for 100 percent which was higher than defined criteria.
2) The student had average score of Critical thinking ability for 17.80, accounted for 89.00 percent and there 5 students passed the criteria accounting for 100 percent which was higher than defined criteria.
