Abstract

Abstract   

          The objectives of this research were 1)to study the current state and the reliance on teacher performance motivation and 2)to study the guidelines for developing teacher performance motivation. The research was divided into 2 phases. The first phase studied the current state and the reliance on teacher performance motivation. The sample group was educational School administrators ,teachers Education Management Of Regional Special Education Center 9 Special Education Bureau personnel 196 people research tools as a questionnaire with a consistency index of 0.80 - 1.00, with a confidence of 1.00, and a power of classification between 0.36 – 0.81. The second phase is to study the development guidelines for enhancing the teacher's motivation in the performance of work. The tool used was an interview with 7 qualified persons. Data were analyzed by content analysis.

          The results of the research were as follows: 1) The level of motivation in teacher performance overall and in each aspect at the highest level in the following order on the advancement in the job position , The nature of the work performed , Responsibility , The aspect of being respected , and The success at work 2) Guidelines for the development of teacher performance motivation, i.e. the program to develop enhancing teacher motivation, consisting of 1) principles 2) objectives 3) content 4) development activities and 5) measurement and evaluation There are 5 modules: Module 1, The success at work Module 2, to be respected, Module 3, Nature of work performed, Module 4, Responsibility, Module 5, advancement in the job position. The overall program evaluation results were appropriate at the highest level and the probability was at the highest level.
