Abstract

          This research aimed to enhancing communication potential and study the effects of enhancing the potential of community communication with the participation of villagers in sustainable community development in the Nong Mek sub-district, Na chueak district, Mahasarakham province is a Participatory Action Research (PAR). The population used in the research is 6,675 people in Nong Mek sub-district. The Random sampling by purposive sampling method and sample size, including 90 community mass media leaders, public relations officers, youth and interested parties. The research tools used in the research were in-depth interview, focus group, brain storming and participatory observation. Data analysis there is a triangular data check.

          The result of organizing workshops to enhance the capacity of 2 persons in the media, namely, community leaders and 30 students Makes the communication style of people in the community change to truly participate Both in the role of communication direction Information flow from communication in the community for sustainable community development in Nong Mek Sub-district, the enabling people to communicate easily and quickly both inside and outside the village district or district people can get information about the situation. Whether it is agriculture, economy, politics, public health, education and new production technology as well as changes in the weather which leads to better quality of life for people make the community as a whole develop faster.
