This study involved qualitative research. Data collection was done through in-depth interviews, small group meetings, and non-participant observations. The study found the following.

The management systems of Ban Phon Sung Community Enterprise Group had plans for the production of community products by bringing raw materials found in the community, which were abundant and of premium quality, into the production process of professional groups. The group had a committee called the Community’s Enterprise Committee for Ban Phon Sung Occupation Promotion Group, who each had different responsibilities. The group leader had strong leadership qualities, vision, could motivate group members to participate and could coordinate with external agencies to fund the group. All groups were required to have a revenue control account, record expenses and provide proof of payment for accountability. This information had to be reported at the monthly meeting.

The management problem of the Ban Phon Sung Community Enterprise Group was that the group had no formal development plan. Many occupational groups had no written management organizational structure and were lack of control of production and costs.

Guidelines for enhancing the management of community enterprise groups. 1) There should be a community enterprise development plan, as well as created awareness of development according to the joint plan. 2) Group leaders should have a wide vision, be willing to make sacrifices, and strive to develop community enterprises. 3) Government agencies and educational institutions should seriously support the activities of community enterprise development. 4) There should be a community learning center for the development, accumulation and transfer of knowledge.
