The study of Teachers’ Expectation on Compliance Role of Personnel Management in Educational Personnel Committee of Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office

The purposes of this research were to 1) study the current status and teachers’ expectation on the compliance role of personnel management in educational personnel committee of Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office and 2) study the teachers’ suggestion on the role of personnel management in educational personnel committee of Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office. The research was managed into two phrases. The 1st phrase was to study the present status and the teachers’ expectation on the compliance role of personnel management in educational personnel committee of Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office with 322 samples. The research instrument was a questionnaire and the statistics used for data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-test independent. Compact computer program and Modified Priority Needs Index (PNI modified) were used for data analysis. The 2nd phrase was to study the teachers’ suggestion on the compliance role of personnel management in educational personnel committee of Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office from 9 experts by interviewing and analyze by content analysis. The research found that: 1. The current status and the teachers’ expectation of the compliance role of personnel management in educational personnel committee of Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office in overall were high. The teachers’ expectation was found in 3 topics as following 1) the placement 2) the policy formulation of personnel administration and 3) the evaluation of personnel administration, respectively. 2. The teachers’ suggestion of the compliance role of personnel management in educational personnel committee of Khon Kaen Provincial Education Office comprised of 1) the Good Governance and consideration of school’s duty and workload 2) the government teacher placement should be enough for each schools’ workload and in the right field of teaching and 3) the committee of quality assessment and evaluation was needed for pre and post assessment.
