การทุจริตคอร์รัปชั่นของประเทศไทยเป็นปัญหาสังคมที่มีผลกระทบต่อการพัฒนาประเทศใน
ทุกๆ ด้าน และจากการศึกษาการจัดอันดับดัชนีชี้วัดภาพลักษณ์คอร์รัปชั่น ขององค์กรสร้างความโปร่งใส
นานาชาติได้สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าการคอร์รัปชั่นของประเทศไทยยังคงอยู่ในระดับสูง คือได้คะแนนต่่ากว่า
เกณฑ์มาก ซึ่งรัฐบาลควรมีมาตรการในการแก้ไขปัญหาอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ควรมีการบังคับใช้กฎหมาย
แทนการใช้อ่านาจดุลพินิจ มีมาตรการทางด้านกฎหมายในการปราบปราม โดยตรง และมาตรการใน
การป้องกันทุจริตคอร์รัปชั่นโดยการให้ทุกภาคส่วนร่วมกันศึกษาเรียนรู้และความเข้าใจและช่วยกัน
เผยแพร่ เพื่อให้รู้เท่าทันนักการเมืองในปัจจุบันได้โดยให้สื่อมวลชน องค์กรอิสระ และองค์กรตรวจสอบ
ภาคประชาชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการตรวจสอบการทุจริตคอร์รัปชั่นจึงเป็นแนวทางหนึ่งที่จะป้องกันการ
คอร์รัปชั่นได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
