Abstract

The purposes of this search were to study and to compare motivation to pursue higher education of master degree students with diffract senses and subject department of the Faculty of Education at Maha sarakham University. The motivational factors include characteristics of institutions, areas of study, employability, personal reasons, and social and economic issues. The participants were 256 graduate students enrolling in the Faculty of Education between the academic year of 2013 to 2015. The instrument utilized in the research was a set of questionnaire developed by the researcher. The statistics used for data analysis consists of percentage, mean, standard deviation and independent T-test and F-test (One-way ANOVA) were employed for hypothesis testing. The finding is found that the students of the Faculty of Education showed motivation to pursue study in overall at a high level. The students with differences in sasses and subject department did not show difference motivations at pair sue their study both in each aspect and in over cell.
