Abstract

This research has the following objectives: (1) Study on the current status of
small and medium enterprises in Chaiyaphum Province, and (2) to study the Important
Factors Competency Development based on the Concept of the Digital Economy:
Small and Medium Enterprises in Chaiyaphum Province. The samples used were 400
representatives of Small and Medium Enterprises and were selected through accidental
sampling technique. The research methodology was questionnaires for quantitative,
using the following statistics: Frequency, Percentage, Means, Standard deviation. The
results are as follows; the important factors competency development in the digital
economy of small and medium enterprises in Chaiyaphum province were; marketing
factors, technology factors, financial factors, management factors and production factor
respectively.
