Research on the Development of Information Literacy Skills in 2nd Year Student of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University

Abstract

The objective of this research were to developed second year student of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University's information retrieval to be information literacy skill and to know how to train them and to know how long to be skill. The 101 samples are second year student from four faculties: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Management Science, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Faculty of Science and Technology. The research methods had three steps: 1) Define specific attribute, 2) Developed information retrieval skills to students as appropriate and 3) Evaluated and follow-up information literacy skill skills individually based on Information literacy standards. Research implement were the assignment topics, the information retrieval and the Information literacy standards check list. Analyze quantitative data by percentage.The research finding indicated that the most of second year student of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University developed information retrieval to be information literacy skill by trained. This research finding were the most of students had least ending process in the process of information retrieval. And they had minimal evaluating the reliability of the information content. These issues should be developed urgently.
