Abstract
The objective of this study was to compare the Walailak University image perceived by the undergraduate students and the alumni on the basis of the Corporate Image, Corporate Identity and Corporate Reputation concepts. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 study samples, namely 40 junior and senior undergraduate students together with 40 alumni having graduated in 2011-2015. Six investigated aspects of the image were (1) the image of administrators (2) the image of lecturers and staff (3) the image of academic and social services (4) the image of university management (5) the image of the physical environment and (6) the image of social responsibilities. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic including mean and standard deviation and the dependent t-test was used to test the hypothesis. The finding indicated the similarity between the image of the university perceived among the current students and alumni. The score by alumni is higher than that by the current students in every aspect. The average score was 3.42. The image of lecturers and staff received the highest average scores while the image of administrators were rated the lowest.
