Abstract

This research aimed to study causal structural relationship among university support perception, entrepreneurial characteristics, and entrepreneurial Intention of undergraduate students and study the entrepreneurial characteristics as the mediator between university support perception and entrepreneurial Intention of Rajabhat Roi Et university undergraduate students. The sample were 235 undergraduate students who enrolled in the entrepreneurship for modern trade business course in the academic year of 2023 using stratified random sampling. A questionnaire was used as the instrument. Statistics such frequency, percentages, mean, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, correlation coefficient, and path analysis were used to find out causal relationship with structural equation models (SEM). The results showed the measurement model was valid and well-fitted to the empirical data with c2/df= 2.667, p-value=0.06, TLI=0.979, CFI=0.986, NFI=0.964, IFI=0.987, AGFI=0.947, SRMR= 0.036 and RMSEA=0.05. The university support perception had not affected the entrepreneurial intention and had a positive effect on entrepreneurial characteristics, and entrepreneurial characteristics have a positive effect on the entrepreneurial intention. 2) Entrepreneurial characteristics as a mediator had a relationship between university support perception and entrepreneurial intention of Rajabhat Roi Et university undergraduate students in order to serve as a guideline for the preparation of strategic plans to guide and strengthen the cooperation network in supporting students to become entrepreneurs who are visible and ready to work together effectively and create awareness among educational institutions and relevant agencies about the importance of further developing entrepreneurial skills.
