Khon Learning Management to Enhance Creative Integration Skills

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to investigate the current situation and desirable conditions of Khon learning management in promoting creative integration skills for secondary school students and to study the framework of Khon learning management in promoting creative integration skills for secondary school students. The research target consisted of an expert in traditional and contemporary Khon and curriculum and instruction, as well as Thai dance teachers and 39 secondary school students. Purposive sampling was utilized for participant selection. The research instruments included an interview form and a focus group interview record form. The content analysis method was used for data analysis. The research findings revealed that 1) The current situation and desirable conditions of Khon learning management that promote creative integration skills include: general teaching and learning management of Khon, student learning behavior, it can be concluded that most Khon learning management prioritizes theory over practical skills, while a few provide practical training by significantly reducing the basic skills needed for performances and focusing on practicing for shows on various occasions. Moreover, the teachers need more creative Khon learning approaches to that align with students' daily lives and interests. 2) The framework for Khon learning management that promotes creative integration skills consists of theories of multiple intelligences, self-directed learning, and cooperative learning, which apply four learning concepts: integrative learning, creative learning, and project-based learning.
