Abstract

This article aims to analyze world mega trends that are likely to occur in 2020 and propose guidelines for businesses to cope with the probable changes. It is divided into two main parts. The first part is about the analysis of world mega trends in 2020 and the second part concerns the analysis of business opportunities that will arise from the mega trends and various recommendations for businesses to enhance their competitiveness. The analysis in the second part is based on the concept of the marketing mix (7P) which covers all aspects of business operation namely 1) product) 2) price 3) place 4) promotion 5) people 6) physical evidence and 7) process.
