The Synthesis of Limiting Alcohol Drinking Access in the Group of ASEAN Countries
The aims of this research were to study of the policy measurement to limit an alcohol drinking access in the group of ASEAN countries and to compare the policy measurement to limit an alcohol drinking access in the group of ASEAN countries. The research employed qualitative paradigms. It was a documentary research studying related information about measurement of limiting an alcohol drinking access in the group of ASEAN countries including 10 countries were Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The research result demonstrated that the group of ASEAN countries had the measurement of limiting an alcohol drinking access including the foreign investment controlling, the import controlling, the tax measurement, the consumer safety controlling, the age limitation, the retailing controlling, the driver drinking controlling, the advertising controlling and the area controlling. Nevertheless, the ten ASEAN countries had the measurements employed in individual country. These measurements were adjusted to suit for its environment and context. These affected the differences of the extreme of the policy formation.
