Career Maturity among Undergraduate Students Majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Industry

Abstract
This research article aims to: 1) explore the career maturity level among undergraduate students majoring in tourism and hospitality; and 2) compare career maturity with different undergraduate students’ backgrounds. Multi-stage sampling was used and 257 questionnaires were collected from undergraduate students who have studied the tourism and hospitality major. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Research results showed that: 1) the career maturity level among undergraduate students majoring in tourism and hospitality was at the moderately high level; and 2) undergraduate students who have different hometowns indicated different career maturity (p<0.05).
