บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้เหตุผลสนับสนุนแหล่งที่มาของความรู้จากวิกิพีเดียในฐานะคำบอกเล่าของประจักษ์พยาน โดยจะอ้างอิงจากข้อเสนอของทอลเลฟเซน เวย์ และอดิศร จากนั้นผู้เขียนได้แสดงให้เห็นว่าข้อเสนอทั้งสามประการมีปัญหาในการอธิบายเกี่ยวกับการให้เหตุผลสนับสนุนวิกิพีเดียตามแนวทางของคำบอกเล่าของประจักษ์พยาน และผู้เขียนมีข้อเสนอใหม่ว่าวิกิพีเดียสามารถให้เหตุผลสนับสนุนได้ทั้งตามแนวทางลดทอนนิยมและปฏิเสธลดทอนนิยมโดยขึ้นอยู่กับเงื่อนไขในการพิจารณา
