หน้าที่สื่อสัมพันธ์ของประโยคคำถาม: การเกริ่นนำชักจูงคู่สนทนาเพื่อรักษาปฏิสัมพันธ์

บทคัดย่อ

วัตถุประสงค์ของบทความนี้ คือการนำเสนอหน้าที่สื่อสัมพันธ์ของประโยคคำถามซึ่งเป็นหน้าที่สำคัญอีกประการหนึ่งของภาษา โดยจะเน้นการวิเคราะห์หน้าที่เกริ่นนำ ชักจูงคู่สนทนาให้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการสนทนา เพื่อให้การสนทนานั้นดำเนินต่อไปได้อย่างราบรื่น

บทสนทนาที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ เป็นบทสนทนาจากชุดข้อมูลภาษาญี่ปุ่นธรรมชาติ (Corpus of Spontaneous Japanese หรือ CSJ) ซึ่งจัดทำขึ้นโดยสถาบันภาษาแห่งชาติ (The National Institute for Japanese Language) ของประเทศญี่ปุ่นจำนวน 4 ตัวอย่าง

จากผลการวิเคราะห์บทสนทนา แสดงให้เห็นว่าการใช้ประโยคคำถามในลักษณะเกริ่นนำ ชักจูงคู่สนทนาให้เข้าร่วมการสนทนา หรือชักจูงให้ผู้ฟังมีส่วนร่วมนี้ เป็นรูปแบบ หรือพฤติกรรมทางสังคมอย่างหนึ่งในการสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมที่ดีระหว่างผู้พูดกับผู้ฟัง

The aim of this paper is to introduce the phatic function of questions which is one of the important functions of language. The paper focuses on the analysis of the function of stimulating or leading a listener to more actively participate in the conversation in order to enhance smooth conversation.

The four free conversations which are analyzed in this paper are from “Corpus of Spontaneous Japanese” or CSJ by The National Institute for Japanese Language, Japan.

The result of the conversation analysis has shown that the use of questions to stimulate or lead the listener to more actively participate in the conversation is considered to be a social behavior or social manner for binding social relations between the speaker and the listener.
