บทคัดย่อ

แนวคิดทางจริยศาสตร์ในงานเขียนของพระพรหมคุณาภรณ์จำแนกออกได้เป็น 10 แนวคิด คือ แนวคิดแบบลัทธิเจตจำนง  แบบอนิยัตินิยม แบบอัชฌัตติกญาณนิยม แบบธรรมชาตินิยม แบบอุปกรณ์นิยม แบบประโยชน์นิยม แบบมนุษยธรรมนิยม แบบปรัตถนิยม แบบวรนิยม และแบบปัญญานิยม แนวความคิดทุกแบบส่งเสริมการพัฒนามนุษย์ทั้งในแง่ส่วนบุคคล และในแง่สังคม มีจุดหมายเพื่อความสุขในทางโลกและทางธรรม และเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายสูงสุดทางพระพุทธศาสนา คือความพ้นทุกข์หรือนิพพานแนวคิดดังกล่าวจึงมีคุณค่าต่อบุคคล  สังคม  และโลกในปัจจุบันในการแก้ปัญหาและพัฒนาชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ร่วมกันตลอดจนเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้คนในยุคปัจจุบันได้ใช้ชีวิตอย่างสร้างสรรค์และเอื้อประโยชน์สุขต่อตนเองและผู้อื่นได้อย่างยั่งยืน

The ethical thought   in  Phra Brahmagunabhorn’s (P.A.Payutto)  work  can be  categorized  interms  of  Voluntarism, Indeterminism, Intuitionism,  Naturalism, Instrumentalism, Utilitarianism,  Humanitarianism, Altruism,  Meliorism  and Intellectualism. These types  of ethical thought promote  human development individually and socially   with the objects  of  worldly happiness and spiritual happiness. Especially,  they can  lead  human  beings to the  end of  suffering  or  Nibbana. They are  thus worth studying   for the  sake  of human development and   for  the  peaceful  happiness of  a community. People  of the world  today   who have studied his work can be inspired to  live  for  the  best of  themselves and  others  and turn this world into a  place  of sustainable happiness.
