บทพรรณนาในกวีนิพนธ์ไทย

บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาลักษณะ ความสำคัญ และบทบาทหน้าที่ของบทพรรณนาในกวีนิพนธ์ไทย  ตลอดจนการสร้างสรรค์บทพรรณนาชนิดต่างๆ ของกวีไทยแต่อดีตจวบจนปัจจุบันว่ามีการสืบทอด  สร้างใหม่ และการสร้างสรรค์ในกระบวนการสืบทอดหรือนำบทพรรณนาเดิมมาใช้หรือสร้างใหม่  เพื่อสื่อความคิดใหม่ในบริบทสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป โดยศึกษากวีนิพนธ์ไทยตั้งแต่สมัยสุโขทัยจนถึงปัจจุบัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่าบทบาทหน้าที่และความสำคัญของบทพรรณนาชนิดต่างๆ มีส่วนสัมพันธ์เกี่ยวกับประโยชน์ทางการประพันธ์ และเป็นเครื่องมือสื่อความคิดที่แสดงออกตามบริบทของสังคมและวัฒนธรรมแห่งยุคสมัย กวีไทยยังสืบสรรค์บทพรรณนาชนิดต่างๆ  ทำให้เห็นว่าแบบแผนหรือขนบการพรรณนาในกวีนิพนธ์ไทย มี  “มิติใหม่”  อันเกิดจากการนำธรรมเนียมนิยมเดิมมาสร้างใหม่ได้ไม่รู้จบ ทั้งนี้เกิดจากการเข้าถึงแก่นของแบบแผนเดิมนำมาเป็นรากฐานการสืบสรรค์   ซึ่งก่อให้เกิดพลวัตและพลังแห่งการสื่อสารในบริบทของสังคมร่วมสมัย

This paper aims  to study the  characteristics,  the significance and  the role of description as well as the existing types  of description   in  Thai poetry from the  Sukhothai period  up to  the  present. It analyses  how the use of description  has changed to  suit changing  social and  cultural   contexts. It was found that descriptive parts in the  poem serve  an important function in composition  as they can  convey the poets’  thoughts in  a systematic way, based on the cultural  and social  context  of each  period. Thai poets   have shown creative  perpetuations  of  description from generations to generations. This implies that the  creation of  new  literary  “perspective”  will   incessantly continue. The understanding of  the core  Thai  literary  tradition  can create dynamicity and power  in communication  in the Thai  context.
