This research aimed: 1. To examine the levels of digital job resources, work engagement, and innovative work behavior among Information and Communication Technology (ICT) personnel in Bangkok, and 2. To examine the mediating effect of work engagement in the relationship between digital job resources and innovative work behavior. This study employed a quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 200 ICT personnel selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.85. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS.
The findings revealed that: 1. The overall levels of the study variables were high, including digital job resources (= 3.90, S.D. = 0.70), work engagement (
= 3.88, S.D. = 0.75), and innovative work behavior (
= 3.92, S.D. = 0.67). 2. Digital job resources had a significant positive direct effect on work engagement (β = 0.83, p < 0.001) and innovative work behavior (β = 0.17, p = 0.013). Additionally, work engagement had a significant, positive direct effect on innovative work behavior (β = 0.78, p < 0.001). Furthermore, work engagement served as a partial mediator in the relationship between digital job resources and innovative work behavior, with a significant indirect effect (β = 0.65, p < 0.001). These findings suggested that organizations should invest in digital job resources and create supportive work environments that foster employees' work engagement to enhance innovative work behavior among ICT personnel.
