Abstract

Human resource development in the digital era was a critical issue concerning the adaptation of individuals and organizations to rapid technological changes. This article aimed to analyze and propose an integrative approach to human resource development through Buddhist principles, emphasizing the integration of 21st-century skills with morality and ethics. The findings indicated that sustainable development should be grounded in core Buddhist principles, namely mindfulness, morality, concentration, and wisdom. These principles enhance self-awareness, behavioral regulation, work focus, and rational decision-making. Such integration enabled individuals to effectively adapt to the digital context while promoting quality of life and mental balance. Ultimately, this approach contributed to the development of ethical, resilient, and sustainable organizations and societies.
