Keywords:
Competency, Entrepreneurship, Community CollegeAbstract
Community colleges are higher education institutions that offer under graduated degree programs with curricula aligned with the employment needs of the community. There are 20 community colleges in Thailand under the supervision of the Community College Institute. The strategies and management directions of community colleges aim to promote entrepreneurship among students and secure employment in the labor market that aligns with the community context. This requires developing entrepreneurial competencies in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are appropriate for becoming an entrepreneur after graduation. Developing entrepreneurial competencies for community college students includes curriculum development, extracurricular activities, the creation of teaching materials, and field trips to businesses, among others. The content used for student development relates to marketing strategies, motivation, financial management, team building, leadership, and innovation development, among others.
