Abstract

Objectives of this research article were to study the influence of organization-wide quality management on organizational performance by comparing Thai organizations and Japanese organizations located in the eastern region of Thailand. This was the quantitative research using questionnaires as a tool to collect data from 301 companies in the manufacturing industry and using structural equation modeling techniques to analyze the data.

The research results were found that Organization-wide quality management had a positive influence on non-financial organizational performance. (Influence value was 0.73) than the performance of the financial organization. (Influence value was 0.34) And when comparing Thai and Japanese organizations, it was found that quality management throughout the organization has different influences on the performance of organizations from these 2 nationalities. Significantly at the 0.05 level, Japanese organizations showed more influence than Thai organizations in both non-financial aspects. (Japanese and Thai influence values ​​were 0.79 and 0.58 respectively) and financial (The influence values ​​of Japan and Thailand were 0.38 and 0.10, respectively.) The results of this research could be used to benefit organizations in the manufacturing industry in Thailand. In order to gain an understanding of managing the main factors that contributed to success in quality management throughout the organization.
