A COMPLETE NEEDS ASSESSMENT FOR AGILE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPING OF THE ADMINISTRATORS IN SCHOOL UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE BANGKOK 1

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. to identify and prioritize the need for agile leadership of administrators in schools. 2.To analyze the causes that led to the need for agile leadership development of administrators in schools, and 3. To suggest guidelines for the development of agile leadership of administrators in schools, conducted by the mixed research methods. The samples were administrators and teachers in schools under SESAO 1 consisted of 307 people, using Yamane formula. The tools used were the needs assessment form and the focus group discussion recording form. quantitative data were collected from the needs assessment form and analyzed using PNImodifie in combination with matrix analysis. qualitative data were collected from fish bone chart and analyzed by content analysis.

The results of the study were found that 1. Administrators in schools needed to develop creativity and working with teachers. 2. The reason the administrators in schools must have creative thinking because of lacking knowledge, administrative skills, and work experience. As for administrators in school must work together with teachers because of lacking participatory management and lack of good relationship between them. 3. The guidelines for developing creative thinking was to encourage administrators in schools to participate in the training and self-development as for working with teacher development approach was to allow for interactions in the organization and organized activities or projects for personnel to rotate and share different functions.
