LEARNING CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT OF CHIANG SAEN LEARNING CENTER CHIANG RAI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Objectives of this research were to extract the knowledge of the Chiang Saen Learning Center, to create and develop learning curriculum of the Chiang Saen Learning Center, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University. This research was a qualitative research. The key informants were personnel at the Chiang Saen Learning Center. Personnel under the Institute of Biodiversity and Environment for Local and ASEAN Development and community wise persons. The instrument used in the research were in-depth-interview script, observation form, and curriculum quality suitability assessment form. Data were analyzed by average statistics. and standard deviation and content descriptive interpretation.

The results showed that the body of knowledge of the Chiang Saen Learning Center consisted of knowledge on beekeeping in the wild forests, raising and producing earthworm manure, biochar production, organic vegetable cultivation, agricultural technology and water management for the creation and development of learning courses. Chiang Saen Learning Center created and developed two pilot courses, namely 1) the course on creating bee stings and raising bee stings and 2) a course on raising earthworms and producing earthworm manure. As for the results of the assessment of the quality of the learning program, the overall appropriateness was at a high level.
