This article focuses on (1) To study the concepts and practices of meditation in the Lanna Thai. (2) To study the method of meditation practice of the senior monks (PhraThera) in Lanna Thai.(3) To analyze the concept and practice of meditation according to Buddhist scriptures and the senior monks (PhraThera) in Lanna Thai. The research methodology was used to document the knowledge ofkạmmạtāṭ̄hānin the past and present.The results of the studythe concept and practice of meditation in the Lanna Thai scripture is a psychological training. The benefits of meditation in this perspective is the base of enlightenment to cause to destroy the wisdom enlightened passion for all possible Buddhism.The practice of wipạsāsānākạmmạtāṭ̄hān.Practice is important to life of the people in the Lanna Thai. Because the meditation practice allows practitioners to see the effects of their practice, they can develop their minds to be good, morally better. See the benefits of the practice. Do you want to try it? And those who have observed the effects of the practice, the more faith in Buddhism, the more the propagation of meditation practice is to point out. The practitioners have seen the results of their practice clearly and clearly. Can understand what the Buddha taught truly.
